Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Public Relations Officer to manage our organization's public image and reputation. As a Public Relations Officer, you'll play a key role in developing and implementing PR strategies, building relationships with media and stakeholders, and maintaining a positive public image.
Key Responsibilities
1. PR Strategy: Develop and implement PR strategies to promote our organization's image and reputation.
2. Media Relations: Build and maintain relationships with media representatives, pitching stories and securing coverage.
3. Crisis Communications: Manage crisis communications, responding promptly and effectively to issues.
4. Content Creation: Create engaging content, including press releases, social media posts, and other materials.
5. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media, customers, and partners.
Requirements
1. Experience: Prior experience in public relations or a related field is desirable.
2. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Media Relations: Strong understanding of media relations and how to secure coverage.
4. Crisis Management: Ability to manage crisis communications and respond promptly to issues.
