To act as the face of the hospital by building strong relationships with patients, doctors, referring clinics, media, and the community, while promoting the hospital's services and ensuring a positive public image.
Key Responsibilities1. Patient & Public Relations
Be the first point of contact for VIP patients, corporate clients, and special cases.
Handle patient grievances, feedback, and conflict resolution professionally.
Ensure a positive patient experience from entry to discharge.
Coordinate with front office and nursing staff to maintain service standards.
2. Doctor & Referral Network Coordination
Build and maintain relationships with:
Referring ophthalmologists
Optometrists
General physicians
Corporate hospitals and clinics
Visit referral centers regularly and update them on:
New services
Surgeons
Technology upgrades
Track referral statistics and submit monthly reports.
3. Marketing & Outreach
Plan and execute:
Eye camps
School screening programs
Corporate eye check-ups
Community awareness programs
Coordinate promotional activities:
Posters, brochures, standees
Social media content with marketing team
Local advertisements
Represent the hospital at medical conferences, exhibitions, and public events.
Key Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication in
English
& Malayalam.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism.
Basic knowledge of:
Hospital operations
Medical terminology (especially ophthalmology - preferred)
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Educational Qualification
Graduate
MBA / MHA is an added advantage.
