Public Relations Officer (PRO)- Male

Position Summary



The Public Relations Officer (PRO) represents Mindport Care Villa with empathy, professionalism, and strategic intent. The role involves patient and family interaction, coordination with clinical teams, referral development, and admissions support. The PRO plays a key role in improving visibility, building trusted healthcare networks, and supporting ethical admissions through clear and compassionate communication.

Key Responsibilities



Patient & Family Interaction



Act as the first point of contact for patients and families Explain services, treatments, and admission processes clearly Handle sensitive conversations with empathy and confidentiality Coordinate with clinical teams for appropriate family communication

Clinician & Caregiver Coordination



Work closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and caregivers Stay informed about treatment modalities and service availability Ensure smooth communication with internal and external stakeholders

Sales & Admissions Support



Handle enquiries and guide clients through admissions Present Mindport's premium care model with clarity and trust Maintain healthy enquiry-to-admission conversion Track enquiries, follow-ups, and performance metrics

Referral Network Development



Build referral relationships with doctors across specialties Connect with therapists, counsellors, NGOs, wellness centres, and HR teams Develop interstate referral networks Represent Mindport in medical forums and community programs

External Communication & PR



Communicate Mindport's value proposition effectively Support awareness campaigns and hospital tie-ups Coordinate with marketing teams for communication materials Maintain Mindport's image as a compassionate, premium facility

Administrative & Reporting



Maintain accurate records of referrals and admissions Submit weekly and monthly performance reports Support management in outreach and strategy planning

Qualifications & Skills



Education



Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Nursing, Management, Life Sciences, or related fields Training in counselling, healthcare communication, or sales is an advantage

Core Skills



Strong compassion and sensitivity to mental health needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ethical persuasion and relationship-building ability Willingness to travel within and outside Kerala Strong organisation and reporting skills

Language Requirements



English & Malayalam - Mandatory Hindi or Tamil - Working proficiency in at least one required
