Position Title:

Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Key Responsibilities



1. Patient Relations & Support



Serve as the primary point of contact for patient queries, concerns, and escalations. Assist patients and their families with admission, billing, discharge, and service-related guidance. Ensure proper communication of hospital processes, policies, and services. Conduct daily rounds to check patient satisfaction and take feedback.

2. Communication with Management



Coordinate between patients and hospital management to resolve issues swiftly. Escalate critical concerns to the appropriate department or senior management. Provide daily/weekly reports to management on patient feedback, complaints, and service improvements.

3. Service Quality & Patient Satisfaction



Ensure that patients receive timely assistance for all service-related needs. Maintain a positive environment and uphold the hospital's service standards. Suggest improvements to enhance overall patient experience.

4. Coordination with Departments



Liaise with nursing, housekeeping, billing, security, and medical departments to resolve patient issues. Ensure smooth communication flow and follow-up on pending tasks.

5. Public Relations & Hospital Image Building



Support hospital branding, CSR programs, and public communication activities. Maintain professional conduct and represent the hospital positively at all times.

Key Skills & Competencies



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving and customer service mindset. Ability to handle stressful situations with patience and professionalism. Good coordination and follow-up skills. Fluency in local language(s) and English.

Qualification & Experience



Any Degree (Hospital Administration qualification preferred). 2-5 years of experience in patient relations or customer service, preferably in a hospital setting. Experience in handling patient & management coordination is essential.
