Role Overview
As a
Public Relations Officer
, you will be the voice of the brand--crafting narratives, managing media relations, handling public communication, and driving reputation management strategies. Your goal: keep Venets Media and its clients in the spotlight for all the right reasons.
What You'll Do
Strategize & Execute:
Plan and implement PR campaigns that align with business goals.
Media Relations:
Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, bloggers, influencers, and media houses.
Content Creation:
Write press releases, articles, speeches, and op-eds with flair and purpose.
Event Coordination:
Organize and manage press conferences, interviews, and media events.
Monitor & Report:
Track media coverage, public sentiment, and PR campaign performance.
Crisis Management:
Act swiftly and smartly in high-pressure situations to protect brand reputation.
Client Communication:
Collaborate with internal teams and clients to align messaging across all platforms.
What You Bring
A degree in
Mass Communication, PR, Journalism, or a related field
.
2-5 years of solid PR or media experience.
Excellent communication skills--both written and verbal.
Strong network in media and influencer circles (bonus points!).
Ability to think on your feet and juggle multiple campaigns with ease.
Familiarity with PR tools like
Cision, Meltwater, Google Alerts
, etc.
