The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for managing and enhancing the school's public image, strengthening relationships with parents and the community, and handling all internal and external communications. The role requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to represent the school positively at all times.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary point of contact between the school, media, and the general public.
Coordinate school communications including notices, circulars, newsletters, press releases etc.,
Organize and coordinate school events, open houses, orientations, and public functions.
Liaise with education authorities, CBSE officials, and other external stakeholders as required.
Maintain a positive and consistent school brand image across all communication channels.
Assist in crisis communication and issue management in coordination with school leadership.
Maintain records of public interactions, feedback, and communication logs.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate in any discipline (preferred: Public Relations, Communication, Journalism, or Management).
Minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience in public relations, preferably in a school or educational institution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (knowledge of regional language is an advantage).
Proficiency in MS Office and basic digital communication tools.
