- Strong brand presence across industry communities
? Key Responsibilities
1) Media & Publication Outreach
a) Build and manage relationships with:
- Business newspapers
- Startup portals
- Tax & compliance media
- Trade magazines
- Digital news websites
- Industry blogs & newsletters
- Pitch story angles, press releases, interviews, and industry updates
b) Ensure regular visibility via:
- Articles
- Founder interviews
- Expert quotes
- Brand mentions
- Guest columns
2) Forums / Conferences / Exhibitions Coordination
a) Identify relevant:
- Summits
- Industry forums
- Chamber events
- Conferences
- Expos/exhibitions
- Government & CSR events
- Startup pitching forums
b) Coordinate end-to-end for:
- Speaking slots
- Panel discussions
- Sponsorship/partner tie-ups
- Delegation passes / stalls
- Prepare event proposal emails and brand pitch decks for organizers
3) Partnerships with Industry Bodies
Tie-up and coordination with:
- CII, FICCI, ASSOCHAM
- Startup associations
- CA / CS / legal forums
- CSR communities
- Incubators and accelerators
- Ensure recurring participation in events and forums
4) PR Content & Communication
Draft and circulate:
- Press releases
- Media kits / company profile
- Founder profile
- Event announcements
- Award nominations
- Maintain brand consistency in all external communication
5) PR Calendar & Visibility Tracking
Prepare a monthly PR calendar:
- Target media outlets
- Events and forums
- Pitch topics planned
- Track and report:
- Mentions
- Coverage links
- Invitations received
- ROI on PR spend
? Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent drafting and pitching ability (email + phone + follow-ups)
- Experience in media coordination and event partnerships
- Ability to work with strict timelines and deliver placements
- Negotiation skills with event organizers/media houses
- Self-driven, smart, persistent and target oriented
