We are looking for a dynamic Public Relations & Media Executive who will be responsible for managing media relations, preparing press notes, and handling the organization's social media platforms. The ideal candidate should be creative, articulate, and skilled in building a positive public image through effective communication and digital engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Public Relations & Media
Draft, edit, and distribute press notes, press releases, and media briefs
Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, media houses, and influencers
Coordinate media coverage, interviews, and press events
Monitor media coverage and prepare media reports and analysis
Handle crisis communication and reputation management when required
Social Media Management
Plan, create, and publish engaging content & reels across social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, etc.)
Manage daily social media activities including posts, comments, messages, and community engagement
Develop and execute social media content calendars aligned with brand goals
Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, followers) and prepare reports
Stay updated with social media trends and suggest innovative content ideas
Content & Branding
Ensure consistent brand voice across all communication channels
Collaborate with marketing, design, and leadership teams for campaigns and announcements
Support internal communication initiatives when required
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or related field
3-5 years of experience in PR, media relations, or social media management
Proven experience in writing press notes/press releases and managing media outreach
Skills & Competencies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Gujarati & English
Strong media writing and editing abilities
Good understanding of social media platforms and analytics tools
Creative thinking and storytelling skills
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
Preferred Skills (Added Advantage)
Experience in handling digital campaigns and paid promotions
Knowledge of basic graphic/video tools (Canva, Adobe, etc.)
Experience working with PR agencies or media houses
