Role Overview

The Public Relations Officer will be responsible for strengthening Sevalaya's public image, managing media relations, and ensuring consistent, positive communication with stakeholders, donors, partners, and the general public.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and execute PR strategies to enhance organisational visibility and credibility Build and maintain strong relationships with media houses, journalists, and communication partners Draft press releases, media notes, articles, speeches, and official communications Coordinate media coverage for events, campaigns, and milestones Manage internal and external communication to ensure brand consistency Handle public inquiries and support crisis communication when required Collaborate with fundraising and program teams to highlight impact stories

Educational Qualification

MSW English Literature Journalism & Mass Communication (or related fields)

Experience

0-3 years of experience in public relations, media relations, communications, or NGO sector preferred
