The Public Relations and Patient Care Officer is responsible for promoting a positive image of the healthcare facility and ensuring that patients receive excellent support and care during their visit. This role involves handling patient concerns, improving their overall experience, and communicating effectively with the public, media, and community. The officer works closely with both patients and staff to maintain high standards of service and satisfaction.
Develop and implement communication strategies to enhance the public image and reputation of the healthcare facility.
Serve as the point of contact for media inquiries, press releases, and public statements.
Plan and coordinate events, health campaigns, and community outreach programs.
Monitor and manage the facility's presence on social media and other digital platforms.
Prepare content for newsletters, website, brochures, and internal communication materials.
Assist patients with non-clinical concerns, including admissions, discharge processes, and navigation within the facility.
Receive and resolve patient complaints and feedback in a timely and empathetic manner.
Promote initiatives that enhance patient satisfaction and experience.
Coordinate with various departments to ensure continuity and quality of care.
Minimum 3+ yrs of Experience in Hospital
