Overview

Vignana Jyothi Junior College (VJJC) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Public Relations Officer to enhance our outreach efforts and boost admissions for the upcoming academic year. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and a proven track record in engaging with students and parents. This role is critical in driving admissions.

Key Responsibilities

Outreach Activities:

Develop and implement strategic outreach programs targeting 10th-grade students and their parents. Collaborate with local schools to arrange informational sessions and campus tours.

Relationship Building:

Establish and maintain relationships with students, parents, educators, and community leaders. Act as a liaison between the college and potential students, addressing inquiries and providing information about programs, admissions, and campus life.

Data Management:

Maintain a database of potential leads and track interactions to ensure timely follow-ups. Analyze outreach efforts and provide regular reports on engagement and conversion.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or admissions within the education sector especially in the Junior College segment. Proven track record of successful outreach initiatives and student recruitment with Junior Colleges.

Skills:

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
