Key ResponsibilitiesMedia & Public Relations Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with print, broadcast, digital media, journalists, and influencers.
Draft and distribute press releases, media briefs, announcements, and statements.
Coordinate press visits, interviews, and media interactions across all VGP brands.
Monitor media coverage and prepare daily/weekly PR reports.
Brand Representation Across All VGP Units
Ensure consistent communication and positive brand visibility for all divisions --
Support brand-led initiatives, community programs, CSR events, and partnership activities.
Represent VGP brands during events, launches, and public gatherings.
Content Creation & Communication
Write speeches, talking points, and communication materials for management.
Prepare engaging PR content for campaigns, brochures, social platforms, and website updates.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure unified messaging.
Event PR & On-Ground Coordination
Support major event promotions, festival celebrations, and special activities.
Manage media presence, influencer walkthroughs, and brand positioning during events.
Work with the marketing and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of PR-led activities.
Crisis & Reputation Management
Support crisis communication with clear, timely responses.
Track public feedback, social sentiment, and community concerns.
Assist in maintaining a positive and trusted public image across all brands.
Skills & QualificationsRequired
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
5-8 years of experience in PR, media handling, or communication roles.
Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build relationships with media and influencers.
Good understanding of brand communication and storytelling.
Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic, event-driven environment.
Preferred
Experience in entertainment, leisure, tourism, or hospitality sector.
Knowledge of PR tools, social listening, and media tracking platforms.
Fluency in English and Tamil (spoken & written).
