The Public Policy Researcher will support international policy research and collaboration initiatives related to cybercrime, cybersecurity, and data protection. The role focuses on evidence-based research, policy gap analysis, and support to law enforcement-driven policy improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in international policy research and background research for meetings.
Support research on ongoing international collaborations.
Identify gaps and weaknesses in existing policies and recommend improvements to address emerging cybercrime challenges.
Provide evidence-based recommendations for new or improved public policies on cybercrime, cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy.
Collaborate with law enforcement agencies to understand practical challenges in cybercrime investigation and prosecution and suggest policy enhancements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, Public Administration, Economics, International Law, Sociology, or related fields from a recognized university/institution.
Certifications in Global Affairs, International Policy, or Public Policy Professional.
Knowledge of Cyber Laws and regulatory frameworks.
Work Experience & Skills:
Minimum
3 years of experience
in policy analysis, international relations, or public administration.
Strong research, analytical, and report-writing skills.
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders, including law enforcement agencies.
