Instagram is looking for an energetic, creative, team-oriented addition to its Public Policy team in India. The ideal candidate will have both a passion for Instagram and a strong aptitude in understanding Instagram’s approach to public policy, and the Meta organization.In this role, you will support all aspects of Instagram Public Policy in India through stakeholder management, identification and management of public policy issues impacting Instagram, managing policy programs to support public policy and outreach strategies. You should be extremely comfortable in a matrixed environment, working both with internal teams (Instagram or across Meta) and external organizations. We are looking for candidates with exceptional organizational skills, resilience and the ability to manage multiple fast-moving, and high-priority projects simultaneously. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who relishes creating impact from a small team while leveraging a wide range of internal stakeholders, and is willing to personally roll up their sleeves to do anything to get the job done. You should be creative, resourceful, knowledgeable about technology policy issues, analytical, and an excellent written and verbal communicator.This is a full-time position.

Public Policy Associate Manager, Instagram India Responsibilities:

• Build and execute proactive policy programs and creative campaigns.
• Ideate and execute program strategies working across different teams in the company.
• Work in partnership with IG Public Policy Head on building relationships with policy makers, civil society and academics.
• Manage escalations and support on Instagram issues.
• Work with cross functional teams across the company to ensure Instagram policy outreach is advancing external understanding around key policy issues.
• Manage the creation of communications, educational, and marketing materials to support policy priorities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor's degree, post-graduate or professional degrees with qualifications in public policy, communications, or related fields a plus.
• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in relevant fields of program management, tech policy.
• Experience of managing multiple projects and campaigns at the same time.
• Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Ability to think, plan, and execute resourcefully and creatively.
• Demonstrate good judgment and instincts.
• Knowledge of the Instagram platform and community.
