We're looking for a motivated Public Affairs, PR & Communications Manager to join our team in Gurgaon, India.



In this role, you'll define and execute Flix's public affairs, public relations, and communications strategy for India - strengthening our policy influence, brand presence, and voice in the country's evolving mobility landscape. You'll also manage Public Relations and Communications with the support of an external PR agency. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of public policy, communications and is passionate about shaping how sustainable mobility is perceived and supported in India.

About the Role

Lead Public Affairs strategy and execution internally -- building strong relationships with government officials, regulators, and industry associations to advance Flix's policy objectives. Manage external PR and communications agencies to ensure consistent, high-quality media visibility aligned with Flix's global narrative. Serve as the central point of contact between internal marketing teams, global PA/PR stakeholders, and external partners. Develop and implement an integrated Public Affairs, PR, and Communications strategy that enhances Flix's reputation, visibility, and advocacy in India. Represent Flix in policy forums, think tanks, and industry associations (e.g., NASSCOM, public policy groups). Partner with the global and regional Communications teams to craft press releases, media statements, thought leadership, and storytelling initiatives for the Indian market. Identify opportunities to position Flix in key conversations around mobility innovation, sustainability, and consumer impact. Provide insights and regular updates to senior management on policy, communication, and brand reputation developments. Drive cross-functional collaboration with Business Development, Operations, and Marketing teams to ensure aligned messaging and strategy across channels.

About You

4-8 years of experience in Public Affairs, Public Relations, Communications, or Government Relations, ideally in mobility, travel-tech, consumer-tech, or consulting/start-up environments. Bachelor's in Public Policy, Political Science, Communications, Marketing, or Law; Master's from top Indian or international universities (e.g., MICA, Ashoka, TISS, DU, or global programs) is a plus. Experience managing external PR agencies and coordinating with global communications teams. Proven ability to engage with senior policymakers, regulators, and media stakeholders. Strong storytelling, strategic communication, and stakeholder management skills. Self-starter mindset with the ability to define and execute an independent India strategy aligned with global goals. Excellent written and verbal communication in English; Hindi or regional languages are a plus.
