This position will serve as a Communications Engineer/Designer with demonstrated subject matter expertise with industrial and nuclear Public Address/Emergency Communications requirements. Responsibilities: . Provide technical direction, guidance and demonstrated expertise in the development and implementation of the Public Address, Emergency Notification and Mass Notification systems designs. . Develop and implement effective voice communications designs for compliance with codes, standards, and regulations. . Apply working knowledge of National Fire Protection Association Codes, IBC, ISA, and IEEE regulatory requirements to site facilities. Basic Job Requirements . 10+ years of cumulative relevant experience. . Degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics or Electrical Engineering (Associates or BS) a plus and may offset some required years of experience. PE License a plus. . Experience with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), IBC, ISA, and IEEE codes and standards. . CAD experience in 2D/3D Microstation, AutoCAD or REvit The ideal candidate will also possess a NICET Level III (or higher) certification in Fire Alarm Systems or In-Building Public Safety Communications. Remote work requests will be evaluated based on positions, job function, and project requirements. However, if remote work is approved, periodic travel to home office and/or project site will be required.
