Blue Power Partners is a global consultancy and project development company dedicated to developing renewable energy.



Our business is growing fast, and we are looking for a skilled Tool developer with Chemical/Petroleum Engineering background situated in India to support our colleagues in Chennai and our teams worldwide. To be successful in this role, you will have to value supporting your colleagues, enjoy ever-changing demands and take pride in solving both complex and simple tasks within the field of Global Engineering!

About the Job

1. Basic understanding of chemical processes - unit operations, mass and energy balance calculations.


2. Strong excel and data management skills


3. Capability to evaluate different scenarios, propose fitting solutions, assess the feasibility and usability of solutions, and assist in making informed decisions in tool making.


4. General proficiency in process and PtX technologies - energy conversion technologies, knowledge in the production of methanol, ammonia etc., and exposure to steel industry operations.


5. Basic knowledge in developing PFDs, P&IDs, BFDs and plot plans with working knowledge in CAD software package including AutoCAD, CATIA, Solid works etc.


6. Proficiency in programming language skills such as Python or R


7. Strong communication and collaborative skills - both oral and written with a bird view mindset



About you

Required Qualification

Degree in Chemical Engineering or Petroleum Engineering with experience - 1 to 3 years

Skillsets

Knowledge in PtX Technologies, Programming language such as Python, Java, C/C++, MATLAB, VBA, PFDs, P&IDs, BFDs and AutoCAD
