We are looking for an experienced

PTW Operator

to operate Plate Through Welding (PTW) machines for welding stiffeners, plates, and built-up sections used in PEB and structural steel fabrication. The operator must ensure high-quality welding as per drawings and welding standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operate

PTW (Plate Through Welding) machines

efficiently Perform welding of plates, stiffeners, and built-up members Read and understand

fabrication and welding drawings

Ensure welding quality as per

WPS and project specifications

Monitor welding parameters and machine settings Inspect welds visually and rectify defects if required Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Follow

safety rules and shop-floor procedures

Coordinate with QC and fabrication supervisors Maintain daily welding and production records
Requirements & Qualifications

ITI / Diploma in Welding or relevant trade preferred Minimum

2+ years experience as PTW Operator

Experience in

PEB / structural steel fabrication

mandatory Knowledge of

welding symbols, WPS, and weld quality standards

Ability to work independently and meet production targets
Preferred Skills

Experience in

automatic welding machines

Familiarity with NDT visual inspection basics Good workmanship and attention to detail
