1. Job Overview:



The Psychotherapist will work closely with outreach and program teams to provide consistent, trauma-informed counselling and emotional support to women and adolescents. The focus is on emotional healing, mental health awareness, and promoting psychological well-being through both individual and group-based interventions within the community.

2. Key Responsibilities



Provide on-site counselling and psychotherapy services thrice a week for women and adolescents. Build trust and rapport with clients through regular follow-ups and supportive engagement. Identify trauma symptoms, depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns. Conduct group therapy sessions, emotional expression circles, and stress management workshops. Collaborate with outreach and social work teams for case coordination and referrals. Design culturally sensitive interventions and ensure client comfort and confidentiality. Facilitate awareness sessions on emotional well-being, mental health, and self-care. Maintain detailed and confidential case notes, reports, and progress documentation. Participate in staff meetings, case discussions, and training programs related to trauma-informed care. Provide debriefing and emotional support to team members exposed to secondary trauma.

3. Qualifications & Experience



Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, or Clinical Social Work. M.sc in Psychology 5-10 years of experience in providing therapy or counselling, preferably in community or NGO settings. Experience working with women, adolescents, or trauma survivors. Fluency in English and local language(s) is essential. Ability to engage sensitively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

5. Remuneration & Working Schedule



Engagement:

Thrice a week (on-site presence required)

Remuneration: Commensurate with experience and NGO sector norms.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 9 per week
