Conduct one-on-one and group counselling sessions for individuals facing emotional, psychological, behavioral, or academic issues.
Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during emergencies.
Maintain confidential records of interactions and follow up regularly on cases.
Liaise with families, teachers, or caregivers as needed to support individuals holistically.
Refer cases to clinical psychologists or psychiatrists where necessary.
Maintain regular documentation and submit monthly reports to the reporting authority.
Attend team meetings, training sessions, and case discussions.
Education:
Master's in Psychology / Social Work / Counselling or related field.
Experience:
3-6 years of counselling experience preferred
Skills:
Active listening and empathetic communication
Good observation and assessment skills
Familiarity with mental health tools and techniques
Preferred Qualities:
Ability to work independently and in a team
Fluency in local language(s) and English
Sensitivity to socio-economic backgrounds and cultural contexts
Willingness to travel if field-based work is involved
