Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities:

A. Team Management & Supervision
1. Lead and mentor a team of psychologists and elder buddies providing geriatric counselling and companionship sessions.
2. Conduct regular supervision and case discussions to ensure quality, empathy, and professionalism in sessions.
3. Monitor performance, client feedback, and adherence to counselling protocols.

B. Client & Program Management
1. Oversee the onboarding of new clients -- understanding their emotional, cognitive, and social needs.
2. Match clients with suitable counsellors or buddies based on personality, need, and background.
3. Ensure smooth scheduling and continuity of sessions.
4. Address client escalations, concerns, or service issues with empathy and promptness.

C. Program Strategy & Quality Improvement
1. Evaluate program outcomes, client satisfaction, and counsellor performance regularly.
2. Collaborate with the Head of Department to enhance service design, documentation, and impact measurement.

D. Collaboration & Coordination
1. Coordinate with internal teams (Home Care, Assisted Living, Client Relations, etc.) for holistic care planning.
2. Support marketing and outreach efforts by sharing program insights and success stories.

Master's degree in Psychology (Clinical, Counselling, or Geriatric specialization preferred).

3+ years of experience in counselling, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Strong understanding of elderly care, dementia, depression, grief, and emotional well-being in late adulthood.

Excellent communication, empathy, and team management skills.

Ability to handle sensitive client situations with discretion and compassion.

Organized, proactive, and able to balance both managerial and clinical responsibilities.

6-7 days you need to travel to clients house in a month

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?35,000.00 per month
