Job Title
School Counselor Health & Wellness Teacher cum Special Educator
Qualification:
Preferred: Post graduation in Psychology - Clinical or Counseling Psychology
Desired: Graduation in Psychology, Graduation in psychology with PG diploma / Certification in counseling Psychology or related subject, diploma in special education, diploma in guidance and counseling.
:
1. Identifying the students with learning / emotional / behavioral concerns in the classroom
for all the grades from 1-12.
2. Creating individualized plans for the special needs children.
3. Conducting individual or group sessions for children
4. Conducting workshops for children, Parents, Teachers Provide counseling to all the
stakeholders involved with the children under treatment- parents, teachers, shadow
teachers, outsourced centers, and other allied therapists.
5. Create and maintain database of all the cases on a monthly basis.
6. Refer for outsourced assessments as and when required post approvals from the
Department.
7. Achieve the goals set for the year.
8. Create aids and other resources for working with the children under treatment.
9. Assist with the admissions of special needs children along with the IEC.
10. Assist with the invigilation and provisions for the special needs children.
11. Reporting to Inclusive Education cell (IEC) Mumbai for action plan for the school.
12. Meetings with the Hub In charge on a monthly basis to maintain a follow up for all the
cases under treatment.
13. Monitoring the pre-primary students for any concerns along with the Hub In charge.
