Please find below the detailed job description for Forensic Psychologist for Thane Location.

Educational Qualification:- Masters in Psychology or Masters in Clinical Psychology. Total Experience:- 0 to 2 years

The person is expected to be at the allotted cell during the eight and half hours of work time.

1. The psychologist will be responsible to provide mental health support to the victims, accused and police personnel of that particular region. (Counseling, Therapy etc)

2. The psychologist will be responsible to maintain records on site about the cases handled.

3. The psychologist will be responsible to complete the online session notes within two days of seeing the client at the cell. In case of Sunday or week off or public holiday the psychologist will complete the notes on the next immediate working day.

4. The psychologist is responsible for the accurate online data entry of the cases they have seen at the place of work.

5. The psychologist will be responsible for the data and records of the cases attended by him or her, online as well as offline.

6. The psychologist will conduct visits at the police stations in their region at least once a month to network with the police personnel there and yield numbers for mental health assistance at the cell. They will plan a visit schedule and share with the seniors.

7. The psychologist will be part of the training and capacity building initiatives under Saksham program, they will facilitate the training and support the scoring and reporting process of the training conducted in their region.

8. They will be responsible to maintain and enhance good networking with the Nodal officers in their region and give timely updates to them.

9. The psychologist will be responsible for generating weekly and monthly reports.

10. They will be responsible for any documentation or correspondence that needs to be done with the police,

but they will do this only after seeking due approvals from the seniors.

11. The psychologists will maintain conduct and confidentiality at all times when at work.

12. The psychologist will attend all the meetings and workshops that are scheduled at the foundation by the seniors.

13. Other than the above the management may entrust the psychologist with some additional duties which need to be carried out as per the protocol.
