Job Description

The Psychologist will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health support to clients through assessments, counselling, therapy sessions, and psychological interventions. The role requires strong empathy, listening skills, and the ability to maintain professional ethics and confidentiality. You will work closely with the Hugcare mental health team to improve client wellbeing and deliver impactful psychological care.

Key Responsibilities1. Client Assessment & Therapy



Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations. Provide individual counselling and therapy sessions (online/offline). Develop personalised treatment plans based on client needs. Identify emotional, cognitive, behavioural, and social issues.

2. Case Management



Maintain detailed client notes, reports, and progress documentation. Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly. Maintain strict confidentiality and ethical practice standards.

3. Crisis Intervention



Handle emergency mental health situations professionally. Provide support during distress, trauma, or crisis cases.

4. Workshops & Corporate Wellness



Conduct mental health awareness programs, webinars, and sessions. Support Hugcare corporate clients with wellness programs. Participate in workplace counselling, employee support sessions, etc.

5. Collaboration & Reporting



Work with psychiatrists, counsellors, and other mental health professionals. Prepare psychological reports and share insights with the clinical team. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and case discussions.

Required Skills & Qualifications



Master's degree in Psychology / Counselling / Clinical Psychology (MA/MSc). RCI license preferred for clinical roles. Experience in counselling or therapy (freshers with internship can apply). Strong communication and active listening skills. Good knowledge of mental health techniques, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, etc. Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.

High emotional intelligence and patient-centred approach. Compassionate, ethical, and non-judgmental behaviour. Ability to maintain calm during stressful situations. Strong organisational and documentation skills.

Pay: ₹12,000.74 - ₹25,000.26 per month
