We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with Occupational Therapists to support children with diverse developmental, physical, and sensory needs. The OTA will assist during therapy sessions, help implement individualized therapy plans, and support children in developing functional, motor, and adaptive skills. Additional responsibilities include observing and documenting student progress, preparing materials as needed, and collaborating with parents, teachers, and therapists to promote participation and independence in daily activities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist Occupational Therapists in delivering therapy sessions for children with developmental, physical, and sensory needs.
Support the implementation of individualized therapy plans.
Help children develop functional, motor, and adaptive daily living skills.
Observe, record, and report student progress.
Prepare therapy materials and maintain a safe, engaging environment.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary team members to support student goals and independence.
Qualifications
Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
