Key Responsibilities:
Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients of all ages
Manage a range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, psychosis, PTSD, and substance-related disorders
Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and allied health staff in multidisciplinary care
Deliver training and support for local health professionals in mental health care
Assist in the development of culturally appropriate mental health protocols and community education initiatives
Support referrals to inpatient or regional mental health services when necessary
Required Qualifications:
Medical degree and recognized postgraduate qualification in Psychiatry
Valid medical registration or eligibility in your home country
Minimum 3-5 years of independent clinical psychiatry experience
Experience in community psychiatry, trauma-informed care, or cross-cultural settings is highly desirable
Excellent communication, cultural sensitivity, and teamwork skills
