Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Ex-NSG Personal Security Officer (PSO)
to provide personal security and protection services to the
Chairlady
. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in high-level personal protection, particularly with NSG or similar elite security training. The PSO will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the Chairlady in various environments, coordinating travel security, and responding to any potential threats or emergencies. The candidate must be capable of handling high-risk situations with professionalism and discretion.
Key Responsibilities: Personal Protection:
Close Protection
: Provide armed and unarmed close protection to the Chairlady, ensuring her safety and security at all times.
Risk Assessment
: Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement security protocols to safeguard the Chairlady in different environments.
Security Planning
: Develop detailed security plans for the Chairlady's daily activities, travel, meetings, and events, ensuring proactive measures to avoid threats.
Crowd Control
: Manage crowds and public interactions during events or public appearances, ensuring the safety and comfort of the Chairlady.
Travel Security:
Travel Coordination
: Plan and coordinate all aspects of the Chairlady's travel, including transportation, accommodations, and route analysis, ensuring safe and secure travel arrangements.
Escort During Travel
: Accompany the Chairlady on domestic and international trips, providing close protection during travel and overseeing local security measures.
Emergency Contingency Planning
: Prepare emergency plans for any travel-related situations and ensure alternative routes and safe havens are identified.
Surveillance & Threat Detection:
Surveillance
: Monitor potential security threats by conducting surveillance on the surrounding environment, including external and internal threats.
Threat Assessment
: Analyze any identified threats and implement countermeasures to neutralize risks before they affect the Chairlady's security.
Collaborate with Security Teams
: Coordinate with other security personnel, local authorities, and intelligence services to ensure the overall safety of the Chairlady.
Emergency Response & First Aid:
Rapid Response
: Be ready to respond quickly and decisively to any emergency situation, including direct threats to the Chairlady's safety, natural disasters, or medical emergencies.
First Aid & Medical Assistance
: Provide immediate first aid in case of injury or emergency, and coordinate with medical teams for further assistance when necessary.
Event & Public Engagement Security:
Event Security
: Oversee the security arrangements for personal events, meetings, and gatherings attended by the Chairlady, ensuring a secure environment.
Public Engagements
: Ensure the Chairlady's safety and privacy are maintained during public appearances, events, or social engagements.
Security Protocol & Confidentiality:
Confidentiality
: Ensure all activities and personal information related to the Chairlady are kept strictly confidential and secure at all times.
Security Protocol Adherence
: Adhere to strict security protocols and processes to ensure the highest level of protection at all times.
Coordination & Teamwork:
Team Management
: Coordinate with other members of the security team, as well as household staff, to ensure a seamless security operation.
Regular Briefings
: Attend briefings and debriefings to ensure the Chairlady's safety plan is updated and all team members are aligned on security measures.
Skills & Qualifications:
Military/Elite Security Training
: Proven experience with
NSG
or similar elite security forces (e.g., Special Forces, SWAT) with formal training in personal security and tactical operations.
Experience
: At least 5-7 years of experience in providing personal security for high-profile individuals, preferably with a background in protecting senior officials, VIPs, or dignitaries.
Physical Fitness
: Must meet physical fitness standards, with the ability to perform under stressful and high-risk conditions.
Weapons Handling
: Proficiency with firearms and other security-related equipment. Must have the ability to use force, when necessary, to protect the Chairlady.
First Aid Certification
: Certified in basic and advanced first aid, CPR, and emergency response techniques.
Communication Skills
: Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
Discretion & Confidentiality
: Must handle all information and situations with the highest level of discretion and confidentiality.
