Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Science (B.Sc) with

B.Ed (Primary Education preferred)

. 1-3 years of teaching experience in primary grades (I-VIII). Strong understanding of basic science concepts and activity-based learning. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Science (Physics/Chemistry/Biology) with

B.Ed

. 3-5 years of teaching experience in middle school (VI-VIII). Experience with lesson planning, assessments, and lab activities.

Key Responsibilities Teaching & Classroom Management

Deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum and board guidelines. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids to enhance student understanding. Use activity-based, experimental, and inquiry-driven methods to teach concepts. Ensure effective classroom management and maintain a conducive learning environment.

Student Assessment & Support

Conduct regular assessments, evaluate student progress, and maintain academic records. Provide remedial classes and academic support to students who need help. Encourage scientific thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving.

Academic Administration

Prepare question papers, assignments, and project guidelines as per school requirements. Maintain students' performance data and submit reports as required. Participate in curriculum planning and departmental meetings.

Parent & School Collaboration

Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and behaviour. Participate in PTMs, school functions, exhibitions, and science fairs. Work collaboratively with colleagues and support school activities and events.

Skills & Competencies Required

Strong command over subject knowledge (Science concepts). Good communication and classroom management skills. Ability to use smart classroom tools and digital teaching methods. Creativity in designing practical activities and demonstrations. Patience, empathy, and child-centred teaching approach. Ability to manage time, maintain discipline, and handle responsibilities effectively.

Work Environment

Full-time, on-campus role. Involvement in academic events, workshops, and continuous professional development sessions.
