Job Summary
Atmiya Vidya Mandir is one of the premier Residential school for Boys in Gujarat. We invite applications from experienced, committed, and enthusiastic teachers. All teachers are required to make a significant contribution to our extensive co-curricular programme. The candidates must demonstrate a passion for their subject and inculcate this in every child. Salary will not be a constraint for deserving candidates. Successful candidates will also be provided with free well-furnished accommodation with the necessary amenities and free education for a child. Pre-primary teaching experience is preferred for primary position and Primary teaching experience is required for secondary position. The role as a primary/secondary teacher is to work with children between the age group of 6 to 13. You will be responsible for teaching Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening Skills as a part of the Language Curriculum.. You must provide a wonderful learning environment for the children and help them with their needs and ensure safe and caring atmosphere to learn and grow.
Responsibilities and Duties

• Be a lifelong learner and learn innovative teaching skills and try to implement for the betterment of your students.
• Prepare lesson plans and try to make them as interesting as possible.
• Prepare, create and design interesting homework, assignments and assessments.
• Prepare, create and design resources for the class room.
• Prepare children for inter-house assemblies, activities and events.
• Attend professional development sessions to improve your teaching methods and skills.
• Maintain complete records of each student\xe2\x80\x99s academic, spiritual, social and emotional growth.
• Participate in staff meetings as required and try to work well in team.
• To correct regularly and promptly all assignments completed by students.
• To maintain inventories of all textbooks and materials issued to students.
• Meeting with parents giving feedback regarding child\xe2\x80\x99s performance.
• Assist children to learn.
• Identify emotional, intellectual, physical issues which may be hindering the student from learning.
• Maintain discipline and deal with gifted behavior.
• Consult appropriate school administration to address the needs of struggling students.
• Try to handle every situation with patience, understanding and flexibility.
• Create interest to learn, through enthusiastic and motivating presentation of lessons.
• Treat the students with respect and teach them to treat others with respect.
• To create and manage a caring supportive, purposeful and stimulating environment for favorable learning.
• Being a professional but caring person individual.

Required Experience and Qualifications
Minimum five years of classroom teaching experience is preferred. Perks
