Position: Primary School Teacher (PRT) :
- Curriculum Development: Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the curriculum standards and objectives for the respective grade level(s).
- Classroom Instruction: Conduct engaging and interactive classroom sessions using a variety of teaching methodologies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Subject Expertise: Provide instruction in core subject areas such as English language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Foster a love for learning and encourage curiosity among students.
- Literacy Development: Promote literacy skills by facilitating reading comprehension activities, phonics instruction, vocabulary development, and writing exercises.
- Numeracy Skills: Teach foundational numeracy skills such as counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division through hands-on activities, manipulatives, and real-world examples.
- Social and Emotional Learning: Support students\' social and emotional development by fostering positive relationships, teaching conflict resolution skills, and promoting empathy and kindness.
- Classroom Management: Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Manage student behavior effectively and enforce classroom rules and procedures.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student learning through various methods, including quizzes, tests, projects, and observations. Use assessment data to inform instruction and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Parent Communication: Communicate regularly with parents to provide updates on student progress, academic performance, and behavior. Collaborate with parents to address any concerns and support students\' learning at home.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff to coordinate instructional strategies, share best practices, and support the overall academic success of students.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills, stay updated on educational trends, and incorporate innovative teaching practices into the classroom.
- Extracurricular Activities: Participate in and/or supervise extracurricular activities such as clubs, sports, and cultural events to enrich the educational experience and promote student engagement and school spirit.
