SIT Public School invites applications for the post of

Primary Teacher - Social Studies (PRT SST)

. We are looking for a competent educator who is passionate about teaching young children and has a solid understanding of history, geography, and civics. The ideal candidate will foster an engaging and inclusive classroom atmosphere while promoting moral and civic values.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Social Studies to students from Grade I to V as per CBSE/NCERT guidelines. Prepare and implement lesson plans that promote active learning. Use storytelling, activities, and real-life examples to make subjects relatable. Evaluate and document student progress through assessments and observations. Maintain discipline, order, and a positive learning environment in the classroom. Coordinate with other teachers to integrate cross-curricular learning. Participate in school functions, staff meetings, and development programs. Build strong communication with students and parents to support learning.

Candidate Requirements:

Graduate/Postgraduate in History, Geography, Political Science, or Social Science. B.Ed. or D.Ed. qualification is mandatory. Previous teaching experience at the primary level preferred. Proficient in English and Hindi (written and spoken). Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm for child-centric teaching. Commitment to the school's values and academic mission.
