We are seeking a passionate and dedicated

PRT Social Studies Teacher

to teach students from Grades 3rd to 5th. The ideal candidate will create an engaging learning environment that fosters curiosity about history, geography, civics, and culture while promoting critical thinking and social awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver age-appropriate social studies lessons aligned with the school curriculum and educational standards as per CBSE Board. Use creative teaching techniques, storytelling, maps, visual aids, and activities to make social studies concepts relatable and interesting for young learners. Encourage students to develop an understanding of their community, country, and the world, emphasizing values like respect, responsibility, and citizenship. Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, projects, and class participation. Maintain regular communication with parents regarding student performance and behavior. Keep accurate records of attendance, grades, and assessments. Participate in school events, workshops, and professional development sessions. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate social studies learning with other subjects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree in Social Studies/History/Geography or related field and B.Ed. - mandatory

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of teaching experience at the primary level (preferred)
