JOB DESCRIPTION: PRT SCIENCE TEACHER

Roles & Responsibilities

Teach Science to primary classes as per CBSE/ICSE/State Board curriculum. Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging, and activity-based lessons. Develop curiosity and basic scientific thinking among students. Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and simple experiments for better understanding. Assess students' performance through tests, assignments, and observations. Maintain students' academic records and progress reports. Encourage participation in classroom activities and science-related events. Maintain classroom discipline and a safe, positive learning environment. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress. Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and school activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Graduate in Science (B.Sc.) or relevant subject. D.El.Ed./B.Ed. mandatory. Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience as a PRT Teacher. Good command over basic science concepts. Ability to handle young learners with patience and creativity. Familiarity with smart boards and teaching aids is an advantage.
