Job Summary:

Euro International School, Sector 84, is looking for a passionate and skilled

Primary Music Teacher

to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students from Grades I-V, fostering creativity, rhythm, and appreciation for music through engaging lessons and activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver music lessons aligned with the school's curriculum and CBSE guidelines. Teach vocal and instrumental music, introducing students to a range of genres and traditions. Prepare students for school assemblies, annual functions, and inter-school competitions. Organize and lead choir, band, and music club activities. Maintain musical instruments and ensure their proper use and care. Develop students' understanding of musical theory, rhythm, and performance techniques. Evaluate and document student progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with class teachers and the art department to integrate music into broader learning themes. Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.

Qualifications & Skills:

Educational Qualification:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music (Vocal/Instrumental) from a recognized university.

Experience:

Minimum 2-3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE/IB/ICSE school (preferred). Proficiency in vocal music and at least one instrument (keyboard, guitar, tabla, etc.). Strong communication and classroom management skills. Ability to inspire students and create a joyful learning environment. Familiarity with digital tools for music teaching is an added advantage.
