PRT Mother Teacher



The PRT (Primary Teacher) Mother Teacher plays a vital role in handling young learners, acting as the first point of contact for students in Grade 1 to 3. The Mother Teacher concept ensures that one teacher handles most of the core subjects to provide emotional security, academic guidance, and holistic development of the child

.



Key Responsibilities:



Take responsibility for teaching core subjects such as English, Mathematics, Environmental Science, and General Awareness for primary classes. Establish a nurturing, safe, and supportive learning environment for young learners. Promote holistic development -- cognitive, emotional, social, and physical growth -- of the students. Foster strong teacher-student and teacher-parent relationships to ensure the child's well-being and academic progress. Plan and deliver lessons as per the curriculum guidelines of CBSE/ICSE/State Board. Integrate various teaching aids, resources, and technology to enhance classroom learning. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student performance and maintain records of progress. Identify learning difficulties and provide individual attention to cater to diverse learning needs. Instill discipline, responsibility, and social values among students through daily interactions and class activities. Maintain proper communication with parents regarding the progress, behavior, and development of the child. Actively participate in school events, workshops, and teacher training sessions.

Preferred Candidate Profile:



Graduate in any discipline with B.Ed/D.Ed (preferably with a specialization in Early Childhood Education or Primary Education). Minimum 2-5 years of teaching experience in reputed schools as a PRT/Mother Teacher. Excellent command over English (spoken and written). Strong classroom management skills. Creative, patient, and child-friendly approach. Good knowledge of activity-based, child-centric teaching methodologies. Proficient in MS Office, Smart Class technology, and digital teaching tools.
