Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Mathematics Teacher (PRT) to teach students from Classes I to V. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mathematical concepts at the primary level, a passion for teaching, and the ability to create an engaging and supportive learning environment in alignment with CBSE curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality Math lessons to students of Classes III-V as per the CBSE curriculum. Design and implement lesson plans that are aligned with learning objectives and curriculum standards. Use a variety of instructional strategies, learning materials, and resources to meet students' diverse learning needs. Conduct regular assessments to monitor student progress and provide feedback. Maintain student records including grades, attendance, and behavior. Foster a positive classroom environment that promotes discipline, inclusivity, and mutual respect. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and other collaborative school activities. Use digital tools and educational technology (e.g., smart boards, online platforms) to enhance teaching and learning. Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with best practices in teaching and pedagogy.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or a related field. B.Ed. Minimum 1-3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school at the primary level preferred. Strong understanding of CBSE curriculum and teaching methodologies.

Skills Required:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a passion for teaching young learners. Creativity in lesson planning and classroom management. Proficiency in English and basic computer skills. Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff.

Preferred Attributes:

Experience using activity-based learning and concept-based teaching. Ability to manage both online and offline teaching formats.
