As a Primary Teacher (PRT) specializing in Mathematics for YS Group, your primary responsibility will be to provide quality instruction and promote a positive learning environment for students in the primary section. You will be responsible for planning and delivering mathematics lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a love for mathematics among young learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver well-structured mathematics lessons that align with the curriculum objectives and cater to the needs and abilities of primary students.

Teach fundamental mathematical concepts, including numbers, operations, geometry, measurement, patterns, and problem-solving skills.

Use a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and technology to engage students and enhance their understanding of mathematical concepts.

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated, supported, and encouraged to participate actively in mathematics learning.

Develop and implement lesson plans, activities, and assessments that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.

Use appropriate teaching aids, manipulatives, and visual representations to make abstract mathematical concepts more accessible and tangible for young learners.

Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement.

Identify and address individual learning needs and provide additional support to students who require it, including those with learning difficulties or challenges.

Foster a love for mathematics by creating opportunities for exploration, discovery, and critical thinking in the subject.

Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum, share best practices, and contribute to the development of mathematics resources and instructional materials.
