SIT Public School is looking for a dedicated and passionate Primary Teacher for Social Studies (PRT SST) to educate and inspire young minds in Grades I to V. The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of history, geography, civics, and related disciplines, along with a flair for creating engaging learning experiences that build curiosity and civic awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach Social Studies concepts to primary-level students using interactive and student-centered methods. Develop and implement lesson plans in alignment with the CBSE/NCERT curriculum. Encourage discussion and debate to help students think critically about society and the world. Foster a classroom environment that is inclusive, disciplined, and conducive to learning. Evaluate student performance through tests, projects, and regular assessments. Communicate with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate social studies with other subjects when appropriate. Participate in school-wide events, training programs, and professional development initiatives.

Requirements:

Graduate/Post Graduate in History, Geography, Political Science, or a related discipline. B.Ed. or D.Ed. from a recognized institution (mandatory). Prior teaching experience at the primary level preferred. Strong command of Hindi and English communication. Creative, enthusiastic, and committed to holistic child development. Good classroom management and organizational skills.
