The role involves delivering high-quality English language instruction aligned with the Central Board of Secondary Education curriculum and National Education Policy guidelines, with a focus on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, vocabulary, grammar, and effective communication among primary learners.
The teacher is expected to adopt child-centric, activity-based, and experiential teaching approaches, fostering a love for reading, storytelling, and language expression. Strong English proficiency is essential for effective classroom instruction, communication, and academic documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the CBSE primary curriculum
Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills through structured and interactive activities
Foster reading habits, storytelling, and creative expression among students
Use phonics, vocabulary-building, and grammar strategies appropriate to primary learners
Design and implement formative and summative assessments as per board guidelines
Create a safe, inclusive, and language-rich classroom environment
Use stories, poems, role-play, and visual aids to enhance language learning
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse language needs of students
Collaborate with grade-level teams and academic coordinators
Maintain accurate lesson plans, assessments, and student records
Communicate effectively with parents and the school community regarding student progress
Uphold child safeguarding, academic integrity, and professional ethics

Requirements
Eligibility and Experience Requirements
Minimum five years of total teaching experience - compulsory
Minimum two years of experience teaching English at the primary level in a CBSEor equivalent school - preferred
Positions are open to experienced candidates only

Bachelor of Education degree - mandatory
Relevant undergraduate or postgraduate degree in English, Education, or a related discipline

This is a full-time, on-campus role requiring complete professional commitment
