Role Summary

The PRT English teacher will be responsible for developing English language skills in primary students through interactive and activity-based learning methods while ensuring their overall academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities

Teach

English

as per the school curriculum Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and worksheets Develop reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in students Teach grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and creative writing Conduct assessments, tests, projects, and activities Maintain student records, result sheets, and attendance Encourage active participation in class discussions and activities Support slow learners and motivate high achievers Maintain classroom discipline in a child-friendly environment Coordinate with parents through PTMs and regular communication Participate in school functions, assemblies, and events

Qualifications

Graduation (preferably in English or Humanities) D.El.Ed / B.Ed / JBT / BTC (as applicable) CTET/TET qualified (preferred)

Skills Required

Strong command over the English language Clear pronunciation and communication skills Classroom management and child-centered approach Creative, activity-based teaching methodology Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with smart classes

Experience

0-3 years (Freshers with good communication skills may also apply) Experience in CBSE/ICSE school preferred
