RISHS is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Teacher to join our team and help our students explore the world's past and present in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging and comprehensive social studies curriculum that covers a range of topics, such as history, geography, civics, and current events. Foster critical thinking, research skills, and a deep understanding of societal issues among students. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and discussion. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate social studies into a broader interdisciplinary curriculum. Support and mentor students in their personal and academic growth. Participate in school events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, with a focus on Social Studies or History. Teaching certification and relevant teaching experience. A passion for social studies and a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Effective classroom management and organization. Commitment to creating an inclusive and diverse learning environment. Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
