Key Responsibilities
Language Development:
Teach English grammar, vocabulary, and literature using age-appropriate and engaging methods.
Phonics & Fluency:
Help students develop correct pronunciation, phonetics, and reading fluency.
Lesson Planning:
Create innovative lesson plans that incorporate storytelling, role-play, and audio-visual aids.
Student Assessment:
Conduct regular oral and written assessments to track language acquisition and literacy levels.
Classroom Environment:
Build a "print-rich" classroom environment that encourages students to interact with English text daily.
School Events:
Lead or assist in English-related activities like elocution, poetry recitation, and school assemblies.
Required Qualifications
Educational Background:
Graduate in English (B.A. English) with a B.Ed. or D.El.Ed.
Experience:
Previous experience teaching English at the primary level is an advantage.
Communication:
Exceptional command over spoken and written English is
mandatory
.
Tech Savvy:
Ability to use basic digital tools for classroom teaching.
