English Teacher for Grades 3 to 5
under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will focus on building strong foundational language skills in young learners, fostering confidence in reading, writing, speaking, and listening through engaging and age-appropriate teaching methods.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver structured English lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum requirements for primary grades.
Develop foundational language skills including phonics, vocabulary, grammar basics, reading comprehension, and creative writing.
Use storytelling, role play, reading activities, and interactive methods to enhance language acquisition.
Assess student progress through worksheets, class activities, and formative assessments, and provide timely feedback.
Maintain accurate academic records, student portfolios, and report cards.
Create a warm, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment suited to young learners.
Collaborate with other teachers for cross-curricular and grade-level activities.
Communicate regularly with parents during PTMs and through school-approved channels.
Support school events, literacy programs, and cultural activities.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a relevant field;
B.Ed is mandatory
.
Prior experience teaching English at the primary level (Grades 3-5) under CBSE preferred.
Strong spoken and written English skills.
Patience, creativity, and effective classroom management skills for young learners.
Familiarity with activity-based and child-centric teaching approaches.
Immediate joiners preferred.
