Job Summary

We are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and skilled

PRT English Teacher

to teach Grades 1 to 5 under the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in English language teaching and the ability to nurture early literacy, communication, and reading habits in young learners.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver age-appropriate English lessons for Grades 1-5 in line with the CBSE curriculum. Teach phonics, vocabulary, grammar basics, reading comprehension, and writing skills. Develop students' listening, speaking, reading, and writing abilities through stories, rhymes, activities, and worksheets. Encourage reading habits and spoken English through storytelling, role-play, and interactive classroom activities. Design and evaluate classwork, homework, worksheets, and formative assessments. Monitor student progress and provide individual support where required. Maintain lesson plans, student records, and assessment documentation. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and learning needs. Participate actively in school events, assemblies, and co-curricular activities.
Qualifications and SkillsEducation

Bachelor's Degree with D.El.Ed / B.Ed (mandatory).
Experience

Minimum

1-3 years

of teaching experience in primary classes at a CBSE or equivalent school.
Skills

Strong command over spoken and written English. Good understanding of primary-level English pedagogy and child-centric teaching methods. Ability to engage young learners through stories, activities, and visual aids. Patience, empathy, and effective classroom management skills. Basic proficiency with digital tools and smart classroom technology.
Accommodation & Facilities

Free meals provided on campus for relocated staff. Accommodation to be arranged independently outside the campus; an accommodation allowance is included in the salary. School support available for identifying nearby housing; shared accommodation is permitted. Transportation provided from a common pickup point to the campus during school hours.
