Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Meaning:

A Public Relations Officer is responsible for managing the image, communication, and public engagement of an organization. In the education sector, the PRO serves as the bridge between the institution and the public -- including parents, students, media, and community stakeholders.

Domain:

Key Responsibilities:

Promote the institution's brand, achievements, and initiatives Handle inquiries and coordinate admission visits Manage media communication and press releases Oversee social media, public events, and outreach campaigns Build and maintain relationships with parents, students, and community partners

Tele Counselor

Meaning:

A Tele Counselor engages with students and parents through phone calls or online platforms to provide information about courses, clarify doubts, and guide them through the admission process.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle incoming and outgoing calls for admission inquiries Explain courses, eligibility, and admission procedures Follow up with potential students to convert inquiries into admissions Maintain detailed records of calls and admissions data Coordinate with the admission and marketing teams
