Summary
AllianceBernstein's (AB) Client Response Center (CRC) Team is in search of a Proposal Writer to play an integral role in client service and retention efforts. The key focus areas of the Proposal Writer would be, 1) to write low and medium complex firm and fund level DDQs covering all traditional asset classes, and, 2) maintain firm and strategy narrative profiles on consultant databases including exploring advanced automation techniques to simplify their maintenance. Other focus area of the Proposal Writer would be to maintain AUM and staffing data to be used within the Due Diligence questionnaires. The Proposal Writer would also contribute, where needed, to other firm and operational DDQs based on bandwidth.
How You Will Grow
This is an exciting opportunity for you to grow - to further increase your expertise and knowledge of various asset classes, of asset management due diligence and of advanced strategies and practices in consultant database management by handling firm and fund level DDQs for some of the firm's largest and most strategically important clients and by working with highly experienced subject matter experts for management of consultant database profiles. Your role would also give you experience in maintaining single source of most authentic data for firm AUM and staff numbers for AllianceBernstein. Having full ownership of these projects would deepen and broaden your technical expertise in the intricacies of each.

Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Write Low to Medium Complex Fund and Firm DDQs: Work on low to medium complex Fund and Firm DDQs. Help in Maintenance of Consultant Database Profiles for AllianceBernstein Strategies: Help in maintenance of data and narrative consultant database entries for AllianceBernstein's key Strategies. Produce High Quality Drafts, Ensure Error Free Upload/Maintenance of Database Entries and AUM and Staffing Data: Produce high quality drafts which follow AB specific best practices related to content and style and ensure error free entries to consultant databases. Also maintain AllianceBernstein's AUM and staff files in line with firm practices and conventions. Handle Follow-ups: Handle follow-up questions from the client associated with previously completed DDQs, including researching responses as needed and coordinating with CRC Management and other Senior SMEs firmwide for the additional information needed. Understand Best Practices: Understand AB policies, procedures and best practices for providing responses and reporting information in our DDQs, for maintaining consultant database entries and for reporting AUM and Staffing numbers at firm level. Understand Systems and Sources: Establish processes for and stay up-to-date on the systems, documents, websites and internal resources available to access the necessary information to complete DDQs, maintain consultant databases and also AUM and staff files. Stakeholder Management: Show high degree of independence and professionalism in managing all internal stakeholders, including all communications with these stakeholders, so as to maintain long term and productive engagements.

Job Qualifications & Key Attributes
The ideal candidate will have:Experience: 1-2 years of due diligence and/or consultant database experience with a 1 to 5 years of overall experience. Track Record of Execution: Must be an excellent and highly productive writer of technical investment material. Must be able to handle multiple different projects simultaneously to meet tight client deadlines. Maintain Consultant Databases and other data: Should be very proficient in maintenance of data and narrative portions of consultant database profiles. Experience in managing firm level data in form of quantitative data files would be an added advantage. Strong Initiative and Judgment: Must demonstrate initiative and good judgment as well as the ability to work well under pressure, within time constraints, and across time zones. Must be able to interact directly and effectively with multiple internal Senior SMEs across the firm. Exceptional Attention to Detail: Must be highly organized and have strong attention to detail. Strong Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of GIPS regulations, Composite requirements, and global Fund marketing regulations. Technical Knowledge: Expert-level knowledge of full MS Office Suite required, but especially Word and Excel. Technology-Forward: Preference will be given to candidates with strong experience in leveraging technology, including new and emerging AI technology, to complete DDQ drafts and maintain consultant databases in as fast and efficient a manner as possible. Experience with the Responsive software a strong plus. College education: MBA/MS/MA. CFA (L1 Cleared or higher) would be added advantage.
