We are looking for a proactive and technically competent Proposal Engineer to support our water and wastewater treatment business. The candidate will be responsible for managing client interactions, preparing technical and commercial proposals, and supporting the sales team in winning projects across sectors like industrial, municipal, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Support & Client Interaction

Engage with clients to understand their water and wastewater treatment requirements (STP, ETP, RO, UF, etc.)

Conduct site visits, collect necessary data, and coordinate with internal teams to prepare customized solutions

Support sales team in technical presentations and customer meetings

Proposal Preparation

-Prepare techno-commercial proposals, BOQs, cost estimations, and compliance statements based on tender/project requirements

-Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and design teams for accurate costing and solution design

-Follow up on submitted proposals, clarify technical queries, and assist in negotiations

Business Development

-Identify new business opportunities in industries such as food, pharma, textile, chemicals, and real estate

-Build and maintain relationships with consultants, contractors, and decision-makers

-Maintain records of inquiries, proposals, and client feedback using CRM tools

Qualifications:

-Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering

-Experience: 2-5 years of experience in sales/proposals of water or wastewater treatment plants

Technical Skills:

-Knowledge of RO, STP, ETP, MBR, UF, and ZLD systems

-Understanding of P&ID, GA drawings, and system design parameters

-Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic), and proposal software

Key Competencies:

-Strong communication and presentation skills

-Commercial awareness with technical aptitude

-Ability to work independently and manage multiple proposals simultaneously

-Customer-focused approach and problem-solving mindset

Preferred Background:

Diploma/BE/ME- Civil/ Chemical/ Environmental

-Experience working with EPC, OEMs, or system integrators in the water sector

-Knowledge of government and private sector tendering process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?18,000.00 - ?25,000.00 per month
