Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled

Proposal Engineer

in heat tracing to join our team. The Proposal Engineer will be responsible for preparing technical and commercial proposals in response to client requests and tenders. This role involves working closely with the sales, engineering, and project management teams to ensure proposals are accurate, competitive, and aligned with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze RFQs (Requests for Quotation), RFPs (Requests for Proposal), and tender documents to determine proposal requirements. Develop comprehensive technical and commercial proposals that meet client specifications and company capabilities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary input data for proposals (engineering, procurement, costing, etc.). Prepare proposal documents including scope of work, technical specifications, deliverables, timelines, and risk assessments. Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and customer specifications. Maintain proposal database and track proposal statuses and deadlines. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and clarification sessions as needed. Assist in contract negotiations and post-award documentation when required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical). 0-1 years of experience in proposal engineering. Strong knowledge of engineering processes, project costing, and tendering procedures. Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with proposal. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in oil & gas Industries. Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, ISO).

Working Conditions:

Office-based with occasional travel for client meetings or site assessments.
