Proposal Engineer

who can manage technical and commercial offers and help us improve business conversions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations as per client requirements Analyze customer specifications, technical drawings, and tender documents Collaborate with the sales, costing, and design teams to generate proposals Create detailed BOQs, costing sheets, and techno-commercial documents Participate in

Government/PSU tenders

: Prepare bid documents and forms Upload documents on e-portals like

GeM, CPPP

, etc. Handle post-bid clarifications, compliance responses, and client negotiations Maintain proposal records, revisions history, and submission trackers Ensure all offers align with

electroplating, automation, and SCADA standards

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualification

: B.E / B.Tech - Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering

Experience

: 3 to 6 years in proposal/estimation/pre-sales in a manufacturing or industrial equipment company

Preferred Industry

: Surface Treatment, Electroplating, Automation, Industrial Machinery

Technical Skills

: Strong in reading engineering drawings Excel costing sheets and BOQ preparation Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PDF tools) Government e-Tendering (GeM, CPPP, etc.)

Soft Skills

: Excellent attention to detail Good coordination and communication Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
