Job Summary

TECHExpert Engineering Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled

Proposal Engineer

with hands-on experience in technical sales, system design, and cost estimation for

paint shops and powder coating plant equipment

. The ideal candidate will combine strong engineering knowledge with commercial understanding to prepare accurate, competitive, and technically sound proposals aligned with customer requirements.

Qualification

Diploma or Degree in

Mechanical Engineering

Experience

2 to 5 years

of relevant experience in: Proposal preparation and technical sales Paint shop and powder coating plant equipment Strong working knowledge of

CAD software

(SolidWorks, Autodesk AutoCAD or equivalent)

Technical Skills & Knowledge

Paint shop system design Powder coating system design Paint booths, powder coating booths Shot blasting rooms Industrial ovens Conveyor systems Sheet metal fabrication Heavy structures Tanks and piping systems Painting and coating processes

Key Responsibilities Design & Estimation

Prepare conceptual and detailed designs for paint shop and powder coating systems, including booths, ovens, shot blasting rooms, conveyors, and heavy structures. Perform accurate

cost estimation

for materials, fabrication, and systems based on project requirements. Prepare layout drawings and technical documentation.

Proposal Preparation

Develop complete

technical and commercial proposals

, including: Equipment specifications Cost break-ups Scope of supply Project timelines Ensure proposals meet customer requirements and internal technical standards.

Technical Sales Support

Support the sales team during technical discussions and client meetings. Provide optimal technical solutions considering performance, cost, and feasibility.

Client Interaction

Coordinate with clients to understand technical specifications and project expectations. Clarify scope, design intent, and technical requirements before proposal finalization.

Cross-Functional Coordination

Work closely with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure proposal accuracy and feasibility. Align designs and costs with company capabilities and execution strategies.

Cost Optimization

Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality and performance. Ensure competitive pricing while maintaining company profitability.

Pay: ?20,000.00 - ?45,000.00 per month
